What an amazing GAY PRIDE 2019 festival and weekend event. While most of the US is in it’s winter months, we were at the beach, celebrating PRIDE.

The Tropical Winter Ball official launch event heated up the winter with a gay pride 2019 must see “Voguing Extravaganza”. The event was held in the underground locals’ favorite… Club 77.

Raffles were held every 30-minutes with guests winning “Meet and Greet Raffle” tickets to see and meet renowned and fabulous Drag Star Alyssa Edwards. Alyssa Edwards, AKA Justin Johnson, is an American drag superstar performer and choreographer from Texas. She is internationally known and recognized as an exciting contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 5, and All Stars 2.
The gay event at San Juan, PR was SOLD OUT and the demand was overwhelming. The “bottomless” drinks and brunch for the Burlesque Brunch were catered by sponsor Senor Frog’s of San Juan. They really went out of their way to make sure everyone had enough to eat and drink and provided a safe, fun and welcome atmosphere.

Sponsor Coqui del Mar hosted the VIP Pool Party celebrating LGBTQ+ love, diversity and inclusion. Free home made sangria was quickly consumed. Many guests also BYOB’de other beverages and libations. Some select food offered.
Entrance to the VIP Pool Party was free with paid entry to the Friday night voguing event. RSVP for future eveants at winterpridefest@gmail.com.

Saturday Night, December 14th, 2019
The Saturday Night Alyssa Edwards Drag Show at CIRCO marquis event was the hottest drag show to ever hit Puerto Rico. Hosted by gorgeous local April Carrión, the event featured the first time appearance in Puerto Rico of RuPaul superstar Alyssa Edwards. Local drag star talent was also featured including Dingo Konpé, Adi Love, and Luciferina.

Sunday Afternoon, December 15th, 2019
Burlesque Bottomless Brunch at Senor Frog’s was hosted by the gorgeous RuPaul infamous April Carrión, with amazing Burlesque from Maria de Azua, Yulietta, and Freddie Mercado.
The Mimosa Brunch event was SOLD OUT and the demand was overwhelming. The bottomless drinks and brunch food were great and the sponsor Senor Frog’s San Juan went out their way to make sure everyone got enough to eat and drink.
Sunday after brunch many guests continued the party to journey out and about and into Old San Juan. This was an opportunity to meet and see local artisans gather on Paseo de la Princessa and hear live Bomba and Plena music played on calle San Sebastien.
Other guests chose to head to Atlantic Beach’ Queer Beach day in Condado where the LGBTQ crowd gathers every Sundayon the beach and in front of Atlantic Beach hotel.
